Not bad...

You need some more sounds, though. It's been awhile since I saw the Invader Zim cartoons, but what about "The pants command me!!" or "Germs, germs!"... I dunno.

very cool

One of the best games I have ever played on Newgrounds... a good mix of puzzle-solving and gory action. The engine for this game could be used for all sorts of mind-bending shooters in the future.

Nice work, and it looks like you may hit #1 the way the scores are going.

not bad

Most of the points I wanted to make were covered in other reviews. To wit, this is a decent flash shooter that I wouldn't mind playing through again.

A couple things, though:

*Car should be on auto-track, I.E. Galaga. This was already covered.

*Hit detection. Once three tangos appeared in the same general area, and one shot killed them all... right arm of one, left arm of the other, and the right leg of the third one.

*Cutscenes. The first one had a "continue" box that apparently did nothing after I clicked on it once.

Not a bad effort overall, especially using stick figures. I look forward to seeing your next project.

good, but a little limited

The first thing I noticed is that here are only five or six different options for each part, except the head. A few more options in arms and legs, at least, would be good.

You're also missing a couple more of the mainstays of the Build-a-* genre, which are DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS in which to place your creation. Being able to adjust the colors for each part would go a long way towards the usefulness of your utility as well.

I do like the style you have done this in... it looks very Transformers-ish, and all the different part options go together very nicely. It doesn't feel like there's a "set" picture for each individual design, and clicking "random" tends to give you a decent-looking mech every time.

What you've got is good, but with some work it could be awesome.

definite 10

Nice graphics, a little busy at times and sort of clashing, but overall a good effort done with style.

The sound I felt was a little lacking. Aside from the Bond theme and the screams of the slain there was little else that grabbed me.

As far as gameplay is concerned, the first two stages *are* pretty damn hard, and the last leg of the game was easier than I would have expected. Seems to me that's a little backwards from standard video game progression. I have to give it to you, though, that it's an addicting game... I kept at it, and once I got myself into a rhythm it was no problem coasting through the levels and up the stairwell.

damn good

I'm usually not into stick death, because of all the complete shit that detracts from quality entries like this.

I want some more implements of execution, though!

STOLEN

Nice try, but I have seen this before, without your ugly-ass graffiti on the front page.

definitely stolen

Funny that after the game ends there appears a hyperlink to the *real* author's website...

69th-PsHyCo responds:

it isnt stolern you can download the template from his website and there is no copyright on it atall. i even e-mailed him to see if i could jazz it up with speeds and upload it on newgrounds and he said yes. so fuck off and do research when you try to piss people off cause it will proberly back fire. and all my movies and games expect for "the dating game" are better than anything you could do or make you homo.

decent puzzle/shooter

A little on the short side, but rather fun... it's obvious you put a lot of work into this.

I look forward to the sequel.

Magna responds:

Its longer than Pico's Sweatshop, and thanks for realizing i worked my ass off every day on this. The sequel will be longer than this, i promise.

"Cease" in progress. "Doorways" on perpetual hold.
