Good idea, bad sound.

It's a good concept, but I don't think this was the right song for a tutorial.

The rhythm guitar almost completely drowns the lead out. I personally had problems picking out what part of the tab you were playing through most of the song.

radioheadrule responds:

Thanks for the alert! Flash had mixed it down to mono, you should be able to pick each part out better now.

Don't listen to that dick.

A well-done movie is a well-done movie, be it clocks or sticks or B or what have you.

Having seen some of DemonClock's work before, I knew what to expect, and he predicatbly delivered. Stylish, humorous, and a good watch anytime.

MonsterMunchClock responds:

Thanks! ^_^

HILARIOUS!

God damn, that's fucking good stuff.

Sir-CannabisClock responds:

Thanks man!

Not bad...

...especially for your second flash movie. Very stylish, unique look. Good choice of music.

Magwai responds:

well thanks!

where to begin...

The crudeness of the visual/audio media certainly detracts from whatever story you are trying to get across ("fatty's esophagus"?) and kind of hurts the story.

I also have a problem with your literary "referencing" in that it's not placed within the sphere of the plot, but is more like a game of guess-the-book.

I do not dislike the avant garde, but there is a fine line seperating breaking the bonds of the medium you are expressing yourself through (see Escher, Cummings) and throwing together an altogether unintelligible movie (see David Lynch).

And your writing does come off as pretentious.

robototron responds:

with all due respect (because you do seem very intelliegent):

in reference to your last comment...

if my writing comes off as pretentious, yours comes off as laughable. do you REALLY think david lynch's movies are unintelligble, but escher's dorm-room (sorry, high school bedroom) art is the quintessence of limit-breaking work?

genius

I didn't understand it, but it rocked my fucking ass. It's like seeing a painting by Jackson Pollock for the first time, or hearing a John Cage symphony. Everyone knows that true genius is rarely understood in its time, but I believe in 20 years, people will remember "An Untold Story" and the unspeakably amazing mind that spawned it.

I'm getting a sarcastic vibe.. : P

"Cease" in progress. "Doorways" on perpetual hold.
